Construction robots are a sub-set of industrial robots used for building and infrastructure construction at site. These robots have to be able to move and fix itself to the working zone, handle construction materials and interact with humans and other machineries. Currently, most of the activities are in research level while some real world application has also been done such as for dam construction in Japan.

Bare Conductive Electric Paint is a non-toxic, water-based, water-soluble, electrically conductive paint. This paint is used in circuits as a painted resistor element, a capacitive electrode, or as a conductor in designs that tolerate high resistivity. It's intended for applications with circuits using low DC voltages at low currents. Electric Paint adheres to a wide variety of substrates and can be applied using screen printing equipment.
Twitter is an American microblogging and social networking service on which users post and interact with messages known as "tweets". Registered users can post, like, and retweet tweets, however, unregistered users have the ability to only read tweets that are publicly available.
Microrobots have the potential to revolutionize medicine. Researchers at the Max Planck ETH Centre for Learning Systems have now developed an imaging technique that for the first time recognises cell-sized microrobots individually and at high resolution in a living organism.
Ai-Da was invented by gallerist Aidan Meller in collaboration with Engineered Arts, a Cornish robotics company. Her drawing intelligence was developed by computer AI researchers at the University of Oxford and her drawing arm was developed by Salaheldin Al Abd and Ziad Abass, undergraduate students from the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Leeds
A robot “chef” has been trained to taste food at different stages of the chewing process to check if it is salty enough, imitating a similar process in humans.
